Read MoreGeorgia began a break from larger public work this past fall to have more time for working on smaller sculptures that she has been wanting to create. She also had a number of ideas sketched out in clay that had been put on hold. The combination of completing this previously started work and her new ideas has resulted in a number of new pieces coming to completion from last fall through this Spring.

This year's auction lit up when an electrifying bidding war broke out for her sculpture "Snow Hare".

The owners were excited by the "Water Frolic" installation at the University Village in Seattle and commissioned Georgia to create a similarly joyful and interactive sculpture.

Read MoreWe are in the middle of producing two versions of Georgia's latest work, "Snow Hare". The original clay sculpture is relatively life-size. We took that model to a company in Wilsonville, Oregon, (www.additiveworkshop.com) where it was digitally scanned. Using that information, a computer controlled cutting machine carved an enlarged version out of foam.
